Casino Nova Scotia, in the city's historic waterfront, is a spectacular $100 million complex that replaced the casino in the Sheraton Hotel. The 140,000 square-foot structure is an architectural showpiece, incorporating textural and design elements from the city's historic buildings, including copper domes on the towers. Casino Nova Scotia is run by Great Canadian Casinos, which also operates the Sydney casino in Cape Breton.
The new casino's gaming floor offers patrons over 750 slots, a new poker room, and a wide variety of table games and is open around the clock, seven days a week.
